Confronting Hatred
I don’t really have too much to say here, but we need to confront hatred, first in ourselves, and then in others. But what is hatred? It isn’t just bias or prejudice, rather it’s the wish that a being cease to exist within the sphere of one’s experience.
In order to deal with the present hatred engulfing our society, we must engage the hatred we observe directly and honestly, with full recognition of our own capacity for hate.

My wish that someone was dead, for example two that were recently in Alaska. I view my wish as compassion for the rest of the world. Since the basis, cannot be improved by practicing virtue nor can it be harmed by nonvirtue. Am I just fooling myself or am I going straight to a hell realm?
