It is sad to see traditional Buddhism morph into MBSR and various “mind hacking techniques.”
I’m a believer in the blessings of the lineage…but that’s a level of faith and visionary receptivity that doesn’t appeal to most modern westernized people.
There qualified teachers in Gelug, Sakya, Kagyu, and Nyingma, I am quite sure, but since my own teachers, for the most part, are either retired or passed beyond, it’s hard for me to say.
This was a fascinating post with several points I have never heard before, being somewhat of a neophyte Vajrayana buddhist. I’m curious how the Tibetans studied the development of the human fetus: by observing miscarried fetuses at various stages of gestation?

Who do you think are some authentic gurus teaching Vajrayana?
